A strengthening project has been prepared for the existing 3-story reinforced concrete building, taking into account the current earthquake regulations and its new function. New reinforced concrete shear walls have been added to the structure in accordance with the architectural design, and some column cross-sections have been enlarged. The shear strength of the necessary horizontal and vertical elements has been increased using carbon fiber fabrics. Additionally, single steel columns have been added in some axes. Furthermore, floor slabs exceeding the deflection limit have been replaced, and the bending strength of floor slabs not exceeding this limit has also been increased using carbon fiber fabrics.
